Freeware Version 2.0

Well well well, It looks like version 2.0 is here. But what makes it 2.0? Glad you asked.

• Rules on Oils Slicks/Explosions updated
• Falling damage over 12" updated (auto damage)
• Combat - DEF successes equal = -1 dmg, greater than = no damage
• Necro Hacking - Creeper reworked, prices updated
• New Necro Hack - CTRL+Z
• Principality Arms - Perk updated to reflect Defend change
• Unifirm Faith - Perk retooled, cheaper spells
• Flamethrower - rules updated
• Grenade Launcher - Updated to AoE effect
• Blitz Coil - rules updated
• Aegis - updated, one free action per turn
• Cura - rules update,
• Sanctum & Wither - rules updated
• CAREER MODE

The biggest updates aside from graphics and layout is going to be the changes to combat and necro hacking. Too often was combat favoring the defender, causing a less exciting display of action that found players on both sides of the exchange disappointed. There needs to be skeletons exploding, this is Threnodyssey! And to follow with the newer heightened lethality rate of the game, necro hacks are now cheaper, all costing a single VP. This will be a lot more straightforward when using, and it won't feel as perilous to spend them. Some other upgrades and company perks were tweaked, to reflect some issues or weaknesses that arose over playtesting. 

Lastly I humbly present CAREER MODE. Level up and climb the corporate ladder to upgrade your necronauts with ridiculous OP executive upgrades that would otherwise not be allowed in the base game. Mix and match, find treasure on the discovery table, maybe even get fired!? 

Version 2.0 will be up for a while. I highly encourage and would appreciate it beyond words to give some of the changes a whirl and let me know what you think. Give me a yell if there's any inconsistent language, typos, or other errors that make themselves apparent. The last round of edits will result in the 2.1 Freeware version, that will eternally be free to download. After that, we take this show to print. Thanks so much yall!
